Lately, I took a good look at my desk, to which I sit at pretty much everyday, and noticed that I have so many drawing tools lying around unused. So when I tried to draw a picture, it looked pretty awkward to me. I didn't like it. I can vaguely remember the days when I enjoyed drawing and learning how to do it.
"Why not?" I thought. "It couldn't hurt."
Now it's my new summer thing: to go back to the beginning, study how to draw again, and practice drawing everyday to improve my skill. I know for a fact that I have something, but ever since Hurricane Katrina, I let it go to waste. I need to let it out and feed it from now on.
So, here's to going back to my drawing roots.
